Tom Bart

The author earned his master's degree in training and development from the University of Minnesota and spent ten years designing, developing, and delivering training programs for a Fortune 100 company. It was during the mid-1990's while taking grad courses in adult education he began exploring the well-being of American society from a perspective of activity, participation, and personal improvement. This exploration eventually led to more than fifteen years' worth of research, writing, planning, and the creation of this book, The Challenged Life.
